AIEN/DMU SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE FOLLOWING AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES:
UMUNNEATO, NGURU NWEKE & AMAOHURU IN ABOH MBAISE LGA, NNARAMBIA AHIARA IN AHIAZU MBAISE LGA, AND EZEAGBOGU & AGUNAEBERE EZINIHITTE MBAISE LGA.
IN SENIOR SECONDARY (SS 1 – SS3), FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR.
AIEN Foundation is a passion project and brainchild of Dr. Amanze Ikwu and Engr. Ezenwa Nwawudu – who are enthusiastic about quality education for all in our communities; while DMU Foundation is a community development charity organization founded by the Chairman of Dolek Nig. Ltd, Mr. Dominic I. Urakpa, FCIB in memory of his late parents – Donatus and Martha Urakpa Emenogu.
The foundations improve education in the rural communities and support gifted children from low-income and middle-class homes in Nigeria in their academic pursuits.
The scholarship fund would provide financial support to over 50 prospective students from Egberede, Eziala, Okwu, Ezuhu, Umuamadi, Amaohuru, Nnarambia Ahiara, Ezeagbogu & Agunaebere villages in senior secondary education (SS1 – SS3) by supporting their academic dreams with scholarships up to N10,000,000 in total for every academic year.
The AIEN/DMU scholarship fund will cover their school fees for a session and books. We believe that giving young people a chance at an excellent education will enrich their future and in turn, they can contribute positively to our society.
Scholarship benefits:
- The sum of N100, 000 per student covers school fees and a discretionary allowance for upkeep.
YOU CAN APPLY IF:
- You are an indigene of Egberede, Eziala, Okwu, Ezuhu, Umuamadi, Amaohuru, Nnarambia Ahiara, Ezeagbogu and Agunaebere.
- You are currently in Senior Secondary (SS1 – SS3) education.
- You show evidence of an excellent result (Any of your last three terms transcript with a minimum of 50% mark in English and Mathematics) in the previous academic.
- Eligible past beneficiaries of the scholarship must provide any last three terms transcript with a minimum of 70% pass mark in English and Mathematics in the last academic year.
METHOD OF APPLICATION

Fill the application form online and upload the accompanying document listed below:
- A recent passport photo,
- An essay of 350 words on the topic – “What I will be in future”.
- Any of your three last term result from the previous academic year.
Examination:
Stage 1:
- The application forms and accompanying documents will undergo a blind review.
- Eligible candidates will be notified via e-mail and SMS on the examination date, time, and venue, and unique ID for the examination.
Stage 2:
Written exam.
